2024 ELFA Annual General Meeting and Conference (Edinburgh, Scotland)

The 2024 Annual General Meeting and Conference of the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA) took place on April 17-19 in Edinburgh.
The European Law Faculties Association (ELFA) was founded to improve the quality of legal education in Europe by providing a platform for discussion and exchange. The purpose of ELFA is to coordinate the process of legal education reform in Europe, introduce new topics, promote cooperation between Universities in Europe and represent Faculties of Law before the European Institutions, National Education Institutions and Associations of Lawyers and Prosecutors.
ELFA brings together 150 law faculties from 49 countries.

In the noble interiors of the "Old College" designed by Robert Adam, the 18th-century seat of the University of Edinburgh Law School, for almost three days, ELFA members discussed this year's main theme of the meeting: "The Future of Global Legal Education".
After discussing Approaches to Global Legal Education, the discussion concerned the issues of Values, Ethos and Skills in the Global Legal Education, Global Legal Education in the Digital Age, and finally - Internationalization of Legal Education and The Role of Networks.

Our Faculty was represented by Assoc. Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty, Deputy Dean for International Cooperation and Development, who spoke several times during the discussion to share our experiences in the field of internationalization of legal education and global legal education.
